Retirements<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/livewooster.sharepoint.com\/:b:\/s\/InsideAcademicAffairs\/ESTGj0th2I1PnOvHnRKeGdABERPvAVikt8KP7M7BdvAnwg?e=TjU1Xp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chapter 11: Resources for Organizing Campus Events<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to what is noted in the <em>Faculty Handbook<\/em>, as employees of the College, Faculty are required to abide by College-wide policies, including those outlined in the <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/hr\/policies-and-procedures\/\"><em>Staff Handbook<\/em><\/a> that apply to all employees (such as the prohibition of discrimination and harassment, the College\u2019s Firearms policy, Pets on Campus policy, etc.) and are eligible for \u201cStaff Benefits\u201d (such as healthcare benefits, domestic partner eligibility, and workers&#8217; compensation).&nbsp;These may be found on the Human Resources\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/hr\/policies-and-procedures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">College of Wooster Policies &amp; Procedures <\/a>website.&nbsp;Should questions arise about how particular policies apply to Faculty, Faculty should bring questions to the Dean for Faculty Development, who will consult with the Provost and Human Resources, as necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, because Library Faculty, the Registrar, and Academic Deans&#8217; work schedules differ from most other Faculty, some policies in the <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/hr\/policies-and-procedures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Staff Handbook<\/em><\/a> will be more applicable, particularly those in the \u201cLeave and Absences from Work\u201d section (including Paid Holiday, Vacation, and Sick Leave). Should questions arise regarding discrepancies between the <em>Faculty Handbook<\/em> and <em>Staff Handbook<\/em>, Library Faculty should bring them to the attention of the Librarian of the College for clarification, who will consult with the Dean for Faculty Development, Provost, and Human Resources, as necessary. For Library Faculty teaching credit-bearing courses, all policies related to teaching in the <em>Faculty Handbook<\/em> apply. The Registrar and Academic Deans should bring questions to the Provost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <em>Faculty Handbook<\/em> is publicly available on the Academic Affairs \u201cInside\u201d website and is updated annually: <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/academic-affairs\/resources\/handbook\/\">Faculty Handbook<\/a>.
