At the Academic Resource Center, we have the English language support you are looking for! Our goal is to help English Language Learning (ELL) students feel confident in using English in academic and social settings at the College of Wooster. Schedule an appointment with an ELL specialist to learn more about how we can support you in your development of your English writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills!

Fall Semester Course for ELL Students

Our Reading and Writing in US Colleges course is a 1.0 credit course that prepares new international students for the transition into using Academic English in an American college setting. Students will develop reading, writing, and vocabulary skills that will help deeply engage with their college classes and rapidly prepare for future studies at Wooster. Personal Appointments

Throughout the school year, you are welcome make personal appointments with an ELL specialist in the Academic Resource Center. We can assist you with all of your academic questions! Whether you have a concern about writing and grammar, pronunciation, study skills, or U.S. culture, don’t hesitate to ask!
