Classroom Presentations and Workshops

The Academic Resource Center has many options to help support students in their educational journey, some of which can even take place during class time in the form of classroom presentations and workshops. The Academic Resource Center has also met regularly with faculty I.S. advisees to discuss strategies for success during that unique process.

“Don’t Cancel that Class” Options

“Don’t Cancel that Class” presentations are often available by Academic Resource Center staff.  These presentations are designed to ‘fill in’ if you need to be away at a conference or other events, but don’t want the students to miss out on a class period. These presentations are popular for FYS classes but can be adapted to most classrooms. While we list suggested times, we can shorten, lengthen or combine presentations based on your needs. If you are interested, we ask that you schedule these as soon as possible so we can get your class on our calendars.
