SUMMARY:CoW goes undercover
DESCRIPTION:Long-term elevated cancer levels led to real-time investigation of a vulnerable community at risk of exposure to carcinogenic industrial pollution. In collaboration with CoW students\, Dr. Williams developed a protocol to sample soil and air to confirm the presence of a suspect aromatic amine. Presently\, they are working on lab analysis from their initial sampling excursion and preparing for next steps. \nDr. Williams is in her 6th year teaching at CoW\, loves working with her research group\, and cheering on Canada during the Olympics!
