Spring 2022 Offerings
The department is excited to offer three different Chemistry elective courses next semester! These courses are generally offered about once every two years. Students with questions about the course content or whether they may be good choices for based on academic or career interests, please consult with your academic advisor. These courses are open to all majors as long as they meet the requirements.
CHEM 313 – Advanced Organic Chemistry (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1 pm) – Requires successful completion of CHEM 212 with a C- or higher
CHEM 316 and 316 Lab – Instrumental Analysis (Mon/Wed/Fri, 10 am; Lab Wed or Thurs 1 – 4 pm) – Requires successful completion of CHEM 215 with a C- or higher
CHEM 334 – Biophysical Chemistry (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8 am) – Requires successful completion of either CHEM 318 or BCMB 331 with a C- or higher
