{"id":107,"date":"2021-04-27T22:49:51","date_gmt":"2021-04-27T22:49:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/health\/?page_id=107"},"modified":"2025-12-11T20:24:12","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T20:24:12","slug":"women","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/health\/medical\/women\/","title":{"rendered":"Reproductive Health"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Services<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Confidential appointments with Cleveland Clinic GYN practitioners are available Tuesday and Friday afternoons at Longbrake Student Wellness Center between 1:30-3:00 p.m. Please call 330-263-2319 to set up appointments with Dr. Diedre McIntosh (MD), or Certified Nursing Practitioners Amy Guthrie (CNP) and Renee Metcalf (CNP).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GYN wellness check-ups (annual Pap and Breast Exams) with gynecologist or nurse practitioner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Appointments for concern with periods (heavy bleeding, irregularity, or no period).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consultations about contraceptives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prescriptions for contraceptives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contraceptive injections given by prescription.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consultations and\/or referrals as needed regarding other female issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Testing for Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) testing can also be done at Longbrake Student Wellness Center Monday-Friday in the morning with Family Practitioners from the Cleveland Clinic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Referrals for outside services and resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IUD insertions can be arranged through Cleveland Clinic at the CCF building in Wooster.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pregnancy tests and HIV testing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The emergency contraceptive pill, ELLA, is available at Wellness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We also carry condoms, vaginal dams, and pregnancy tests inside Entrance A and Entrance D on Self Care Cart and with RAs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Through our partnership with OneEighty, students are provided confidential crisis intervention, counseling, information and referral, and accompaniment to medical and legal services as requested by the student.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additionally, the nursing staff is available to meet with individuals or groups of students to discuss gynecological issues and answer any questions.
