Wellfleet&nbsp;student insurance has&nbsp;a&nbsp;24\/7&nbsp;nurse&nbsp;line&nbsp;(800-634-7629)&nbsp;and&nbsp;Wellfleet&nbsp;student&nbsp;insurance counseling&nbsp;line&nbsp;(888-857-5462).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.&nbsp;<strong>What&nbsp;time are&nbsp;doctor&nbsp;services&nbsp;available?<\/strong>&nbsp;Monday, Tuesday, Thursday&nbsp;and&nbsp;Friday in&nbsp;AM,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Wednesday&nbsp;afternoon.&nbsp;&nbsp;Tuesday and Friday OB\/GYN appointments are available&nbsp;in&nbsp;the afternoon.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.&nbsp;<strong>Is there a charge for the Wellness&nbsp;Center&nbsp;appointments?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There&nbsp;is&nbsp;no charge&nbsp;for&nbsp;nurse&nbsp;appointments unless labs or tests are&nbsp;done.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All&nbsp;lab tests sent out and done at the Wellness Center will be charged to your insurance&nbsp;company on&nbsp;file.&nbsp;Doctor&#8217;s&nbsp;appointments are charged to your insurance&nbsp;company,&nbsp;and what is not paid by insurance is billed to your student account.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.&nbsp;<strong>Is&nbsp;health insurance&nbsp;required&nbsp;at The College of Wooster<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes,&nbsp;insurance is&nbsp;required&nbsp;as a&nbsp;College of&nbsp;Wooster&nbsp;student.&nbsp;&nbsp;You&nbsp;can&nbsp;have&nbsp;private&nbsp;insurance&nbsp;or insurance that is offered by the&nbsp;college.&nbsp;&nbsp;This&nbsp;should&nbsp;be uploaded into your health portal and updated as it&nbsp;changes. If&nbsp;you&nbsp;go&nbsp;to&nbsp;an&nbsp;appointment,&nbsp;bring&nbsp;your insurance card.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6<strong>.&nbsp;How do I make&nbsp;an appointment&nbsp;with Nurse\/Doctor\/or\/Counselor<\/strong>? Call&nbsp;the Wellness Center&nbsp;at 330-263-2319 or&nbsp;come to the Wellness Center front desk during&nbsp;the hours&nbsp;8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12n Saturday&nbsp;or&nbsp;Sunday.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.&nbsp;<strong>How do I make&nbsp;an&nbsp;appointment with a licensed mental health&nbsp;counselor?<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Appointment&nbsp;for Counselor is made by calling&nbsp;(330-263-2319)&nbsp;or&nbsp;emailing&nbsp;lstine@wooster.edu<strong>.<\/strong>&nbsp;You will&nbsp;meet for&nbsp;an intake appointment to share about your needs and will be linked to the&nbsp;appropriate&nbsp;resources.&nbsp;Counselors&nbsp;meet with students typically between 9am-5pm, Monday-&nbsp;Fridays.&nbsp;Students receive 6 free counseling sessions to use during the academic year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to scheduled appointments,&nbsp;students can access short consultation meetings with counselors during the week at&nbsp;Kauke&nbsp;022&nbsp;and Lowry G45&nbsp;using our&nbsp;Let\u2019s&nbsp;Talk program. How do I get a flu shot on&nbsp;campus?<\/strong>&nbsp;Flu shots will be offered at&nbsp;flu clinics at Lowry Center,&nbsp;lower level.&nbsp;Watch for advertisement&nbsp;of times and&nbsp;dates.&nbsp;Flu shots are also available&nbsp;with a nurse or&nbsp;doctor\u2019s&nbsp;appointment at the Wellness&nbsp;Center.&nbsp;Call&nbsp;to schedule an appointment (330-263-2319).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9.&nbsp;<strong>How&nbsp;do I get my medications\/prescriptions filled?&nbsp;<\/strong>Schedule an&nbsp;appointment with a&nbsp;doctor at&nbsp;the Wellness Center. New&nbsp;prescriptions&nbsp;are electronically sent to your pharmacy of choice. Drug Mart is within walking distance of&nbsp;campus.&nbsp;Other&nbsp;local&nbsp;pharmacies&nbsp;are on our&nbsp;website.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10.&nbsp;How&nbsp;do I get STI testing on&nbsp;campus?<\/strong>&nbsp;STI testing can be ordered by our&nbsp;physicians at the&nbsp;Wellness&nbsp;Center.&nbsp;You&nbsp;would need to make&nbsp;a&nbsp;doctor\u2019s&nbsp;appointment&nbsp;by calling 330-263-2319.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>11.&nbsp;Can&nbsp;I get ADHD testing on campus?<\/strong>&nbsp;We do not&nbsp;test for&nbsp;ADHD at the Wellness Center.&nbsp;We can provide a list of options for testing off campus.&nbsp;Once diagnosed with ADHD, you can schedule an appointment at the Wellness&nbsp;Center,&nbsp;and&nbsp;our physicians can refill your medications.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>12.&nbsp;What&nbsp;happens if I get up at night and feel ill?<\/strong>&nbsp;If you&nbsp;cannot&nbsp;wait until Wellness&nbsp;opens in&nbsp;AM,&nbsp;you will need to use local services in the community. Wooster&nbsp;Community&nbsp;Hospital ER&nbsp;is open 24&nbsp;hrs. Urgent Cares&nbsp;in&nbsp;Wooster&nbsp;are&nbsp;open&nbsp;until 7:30pm.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>13.&nbsp;What happens if I need&nbsp;cold&nbsp;medications, Tylenol<\/strong>,&nbsp;p<strong>regnancy&nbsp;test,&nbsp;or&nbsp;first&nbsp;aid products after<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>hours?<\/strong>&nbsp;These&nbsp;are&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;self-serve&nbsp;cart&nbsp;at Door&nbsp;A.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>14.&nbsp;Can I come and rest at the Wellness Center&nbsp;overnight?<\/strong>&nbsp;Wellness&nbsp;Center&nbsp;closes at 6pm Monday-Friday,&nbsp;Saturday&nbsp;and Sunday&nbsp;closes&nbsp;at&nbsp;12N.&nbsp;&nbsp;Students&nbsp;can come over and&nbsp;rest during&nbsp;our&nbsp;open&nbsp;hours.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>15.&nbsp;What&nbsp;if I am thinking about suicide?<\/strong>&nbsp;After hours call&nbsp;988&nbsp;(Suicide&nbsp;Crisis&nbsp;Lifeline)&nbsp;to connect with&nbsp;a licensed&nbsp;crisis&nbsp;counselor.&nbsp;During&nbsp;hours Wellness is open&nbsp;you can call&nbsp;988&nbsp;or&nbsp;come over to the Wellness&nbsp;Center.&nbsp;You will be screened by a nurse and if&nbsp;necessary,&nbsp;talk with a&nbsp;counselor.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>16.&nbsp;When Should I go direct to the Emergency Room?<\/strong>&nbsp;If you are experiencing&nbsp;a&nbsp;life-threatening&nbsp;medical&nbsp;condition (difficulty&nbsp;breathing, severe&nbsp;wounds, injury,&nbsp;poisoning)&nbsp;call&nbsp;911 or go directly&nbsp;to ER.&nbsp;If you have&nbsp;thoughts&nbsp;of&nbsp;Suicide, call 988&nbsp;(Suicide Crisis&nbsp;Lifeline).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>17. What if I need Plan B?<\/strong>&nbsp;Wellness Center&nbsp;has&nbsp;Plan&nbsp;B&nbsp;(Ella).&nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp;cost&nbsp;is&nbsp;55 dollars.&nbsp;Local&nbsp;pharmacies&nbsp;also carry plan&nbsp;B. Drug&nbsp;Mart is&nbsp;within&nbsp;walking distance&nbsp;from&nbsp;campus.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>18.&nbsp;What if I experience&nbsp;an&nbsp;assault?<\/strong>&nbsp;After&nbsp;hours call 911 or 988.&nbsp;You can also&nbsp;contact Residence Life or&nbsp;Campus Safety.
