As an institution accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC), Wooster’s accreditation status is reaffirmed every ten years.\u00a0 Our next reaffirmation visit is scheduled for April 2023 (April 17 & 18 to be exact). In preparation, we have begun a process of self-study which will last through winter 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our self-study has three objectives: to demonstrate to the HLC that Wooster fulfills the Commission\u2019s \u201cCriteria for Accreditation;\u201d to assess our progress on our strategic plan, Connect, Create, Discover<\/em>; and to inform our strategic thinking. We will consider every aspect of Wooster, engaging students, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, parents, and the broader community in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We will post updates on our progress, as well as information about the self-study process here.
