The Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees at The College of Wooster comprises 30 to 45 members, organized as follows: up to 36 members are elected by the Board in three annual classes of 12, each serving a three-year term; six Alumni Trustees, two per annual class, are elected by the College alumni; and the College President serves as a member during their term of office.

Life Trustees

Emeritus Life Trustees and Emerita Life Trustees are those who have been elected after serving three or more terms on the Board or whose service terminated after seventy years of age.

Honorary Life Trustees are former trustees who are deserving of exceptional recognition but have served less than three full terms on the Board or persons whose great service to the College merits recognition even though they have not served as a member of the Board.
