{"id":538,"date":"2026-04-08T09:43:56","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T13:43:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/president\/?p=538"},"modified":"2026-04-08T09:49:06","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T13:49:06","slug":"framing-our-future-spotlight-december-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/president\/2026\/04\/08\/framing-our-future-spotlight-december-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Framing Our Future Spotlight (December 2025)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">External events bolster College revenue<br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since first coming together at the launch of the <em>Framing Our Future<\/em> strategic action plan, the Office of Events and the working group for Pillar 1.D., Boster Revenue Streams from External Events and Sponsorships, have been working on processes and opportunities related to engaging potential sponsorship partners for the College and bringing in profitable new and repeat external events like summer camps and conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"paragraph_SFdgYUu9T60\">Year one results included identifying multiple potential sponsors for exploratory conversations and three new external events hosted on campus, along with 100% repeat of events from the prior year, contributing a total of nearly $400,000 to the College\u2019s revenue. These events are not only important for revenue, but also for the opportunity to showcase Woosterto parents and potential students who attend. Now in year two of the plan, the summer 2026 external event calendar is already filling up with 100% rebooking of 2025 events plus another new event.
