{"id":1609,"date":"2026-02-12T13:45:01","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T18:45:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/registrar\/?page_id=1609"},"modified":"2026-02-19T12:25:45","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T17:25:45","slug":"graduation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/registrar\/graduation\/","title":{"rendered":"Prepare for Graduation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All prospective graduates must apply to graduate on Self-Service. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>If you have not done this, PLEASE, DO SO NOW<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This is the only way for you to indicate your intention to graduate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This is also where you can specify what names we will use for your diploma and on Commencement publications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If this is your last semester,&nbsp;<strong>you should not have unmet requirements showing on your degree progress<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Missing requirements at this point will require some sort of intervention, and you should contact your advisor right away.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Registration (did you forget to register for that last course?)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Course substitution (maybe you took something else to meet that requirement?)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transfer credit (maybe you took the course elsewhere?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We will want to correct any outstanding items while registration is open, in case additional credits are needed to complete degree requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All students must complete&nbsp;<strong>at least 32 credits<\/strong>&nbsp;to earn a Wooster degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I.S. Sunday is on March 29th and I.S. Monday is March 30th\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:#fcb900\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">I.S. Sunday: 12pm-4pm<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:#fcb900\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">I.S. Monday 8am-5pm<\/mark>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students must submit the I.S. documents online through <a href=\"https:\/\/openworks.wooster.edu\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/openworks.wooster.edu\/\">OpenWorks<\/a> and forward the PDF document to their I.S. advisor(s) for evaluation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students may go to the Registrar\u2019s Office any time after uploading the I.S. to OpenWorks to collect the I.S.
