Reuzzi is the college’s program for reusable take-out containers in Lowry and mugs in the cafes. In the dining hall, students must use the green reusable Reuzzi containers for take-out meals. In the cafes, students choosing a Reuzzi mug save 25 cents on their purchase. Here’s how it works:
- Download the Reuzzi App from your Apple or Android store, then create an account with your Wooster email address
- In the App, click “check out” to open the QR reader.
- For containers: Scan the QR on the green container at the Lowry desk
- For cafe mugs: Ask for your drink “in a Reuzzi,” then scan the QR code on the mug
- After scanning be sure to show your phone screen to the attendant
- When you’re done, return to a Reuzzi dropoff location (any of the three cafes or the Lowry dining desk).
- First, click “Return” in the App
- Then, scan the QR on the dropoff bin
- Next, scan the QR on the container/mug
- Finally, drop it in the bin and walk away
You earn “climate champ badges” by returning your containers/mugs on time, which can be redeemed at the cafes for free drinks! Note that a maximum of 4 items may be checked out at a time, meaning you’ll need to return your items to check out more.

Reuzzi reduces waste (more than 30,000 disposable avoided in our first year) and cuts carbon emissions (16,000 pounds of CO2 reduced). It also saves you and the college money (students saved over $2,000 last year).
