See below for opportunities for current students to get involved with sustainability on campus!
Green Scots
Students looking to make a positive impact on sustainability at The College of Wooster can join the Green Scots program. Green Scots volunteer their time with the Sustainability Office to implement sustainability projects, educate their peers about environmental issues, and advocate for bolder environmental action on campus. Recent Green Scots projects include expanding campus signage on campus, helping run our clothing recycling program and the dorm compost bin program, and facilitating tables at our annual Party for the Planet event. Interested students should contact Brian Webb, the Director of Campus Sustainability.

Internships
Each year we have 7 – 8 internship positions available in the Sustainability Office. Interns are paid 6 hours per week to help facilitate and support sustainability programs on campus and in the community. Interns benefit from regular mentoring, real world experience, and the opportunity to pursue sustainability-related projects in their interest area. Current positions include a Publicity Intern, a Compost Coordinator, several Sustainability Peer Educators, and several “Ex Uno Fonte” religion and environment interns. All positions have significant flexibility for students to pursue passion projects of their own. Open positions are posted to Handshake around the first of April (for the following year) and occasionally in early November (for spring semester openings).
