E-Mail services at the College of Wooster
E-mail accounts are considered a vital and primary resource for campus communication. Upon recognition of campus affiliation, students, faculty and staff are all eligible to receive a College of Wooster e-mail address. Other campus departments, organizations, and groups can request e-mail addresses through the Office of Information Technology.
What is my e-mail address?
The general structure for e-mail accounts at The College of Wooster is first initial and last name. Students also have a class year attached to the address. For example, Bob Lablaw from the class of 2025 would have an e-mail address of “email@example.com”
How much space does my account have?
All e-mail accounts have 50Gb of space available.
How can I check my e-mail?
There are many ways to access your Wooster e-mail account: the Outlook Web App via a web browser or a mail app such as Outlook on a smart phone or mobile device or a desktop computer. The Outlook Web App is a web-based version of your e-mail, accessible from any computer that has access to the Internet. To use the Outlook Web App, go to http://email.wooster.edu.

What is my password?
Your password for your College email is the same as your Microsoft365 and Moodle password.
Users receive an e-mail notification 5 days before expiration and are expected to change their password in this window of time on the Password Change website.
My Password expired. How can I change it?
What can I do about spam e-mail?
Mark your items as junk. Microsoft will begin flagging the senders.
What happens to my account after I graduate or leave the college?
Graduates of the College may continue to use their Wooster email accounts after graduation. The email address will not change. (Graduates will not have access to Microsoft365 such as OneDrive and SharePoint or subscriptions to Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.)
