The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) regulates the collection, use, sale and disclosure of personal information about California consumers and households.
The CCPA only applies to any for-profit entity that does business in California and collects personal information about California consumers.
The CCPA applies to for-profit businesses that do business in California and meet any of the following:
- Have a gross annual revenue of over $25 million;
- Buy, receive, or sell the personal information of 50,000 or more California residents, households, or devices; or
- Derive 50% or more of their annual revenue from selling California residents’ personal information.
The CCPA does not apply to nonprofit organizations or government agencies.
As a non-profit 501(c) 3 educational organization, the CCPA does not apply to the College of Wooster.

You should check the privacy policies of these sites and services to understand how they use your information and your rights to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
