As you may have read in national news media, a significant number of organizations around the world have been affected by a cybersecurity event involving a software utility called MOVEit.  Organizations include the US Departments of Energy and Health & Human Services, The New York City Department of Education, various state agencies, and corporations.  In the higher education sector, a few universities have been impacted, as have organizations that provide services to them.  While the College of Wooster does not use MOVEIt, we have learned that some of our service providers do.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

IT continues to monitor this developing event, both through provider communications and information security lists.  We will provide relevant updates as we have them. Please check this site often. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
