In this workshop, we will cover how to turn a photograph into a sticker, as well as insert an image within text, using a few basic tools in Photoshop.<\/p>\n

Adobe Photoshop CS 6 (Available on school computers or for download)<\/p>\n

Outside Website (to produce stickers)<\/p>\n

From Photo to Sticker<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Shape tool<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Fill tool<\/li>\n
  3. Copy photo onto the second layer<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Layer Menu > Create Clipping Mask<\/li>\n
  5. Transform or Crop <\/a>(if necessary)<\/li>\n
  6. Use outside sticker website<\/a> to order!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Image in Text<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Open image<\/li>\n
    2. Create duplicate layer (Command+J\u00a0on Mac)<\/li>\n
    3. Create a Blank layer<\/li>\n
    4. Place blank layer in between the two photo layers<\/li>\n
    5. Fill Layer<\/li>\n
    6. Select the Type Tool\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n
    7. Set foreground color and add text (foreground color should match the fill layer)<\/li>\n
    8. Edit text with Free Transform Command<\/li>\n
    9. Place text layer below layer one (the first photo layer)<\/li>\n
    10. Select ‘Layer One’\u00a0and create clipping mask<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
