Please see our <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/technology\/knowledge-base\/stream\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Stream article<\/a> for more details on uploading and sharing video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"powerpoint\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">PowerPoint<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Microsoft PowerPoint slide show presentation software is part of the College&#8217;s Office 365 subscription. The <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/office\/record-a-slide-show-with-narration-and-slide-timings-0b9502c6-5f6c-40ae-b1e7-e47d8741161c#new_experience\">New experience<\/a> in PowerPoint allow you to narrate over your presentation as you present and save the result as an mp4 video file. Use the screen recording option available under &#8220;Create new&#8221; to make short screen recordings of up to 15 minutes, using your camera and microphone, without any additional software. For longer content:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>break up your video into shorter segments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>use Clipchamp. Microsoft acquired Clipchamp, and it will allow you to record 30 minutes without upgrading to a premium version at this time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>record in a Teams meeting (see below).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"microsoft-teams-meet-now\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Microsoft Teams &#8211; Meet Now<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Teams software is part of the College&#8217;s Office 365 subscription. From your Teams calendar, select the \u201cMeet now\u201d feature to record yourself giving a presentation with your web camera, microphone, and screen sharing. Record your Mac&#8217;s screen and your camera for free using QuickTime on Mac OS version 10.6 or higher. (free, native to Windows 10)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.windowscentral.com\/windows-10-game-bar-everything-you-need-know\">Guide to using Xbox Game Bar<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"explain-everything\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Explain Everything<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Explain Everything is an application for creating Whiteboard screencasts available for iOS, Android, and Web. It works best if you have some form of pen input, a Wacom tablet for a laptop or Apple Pencil for an iPad Pro, for example. The mobile version allows you to import a PowerPoint presentation &#8211; each slide of the PowerPoint presentation is converted to an Explain Everything slide that can be narrated and annotated. The Web version does not allow this. It will allow you to record your entire screen, a specific window, or a select portion of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/tutorial-snagit-how-to-capture-video.html\">Tutorial video and quick documentation<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"obs-studio\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">OBS Studio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>OBS Studio is a full-featured cross platform open source video recording and live streaming application. It will allow you to create scenes made up of multiple sources including window captures, images, text, browser windows, webcams, applications windows, and more. (free, open source)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/obsproject.com\/\">OBS Studio homepage<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"screenpal\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">ScreenPal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ScreenPal (formerly Screencast-O-Matic) is an online tool to capture your screen, add a webcam, and use narration to customize your video.
