This workshop&#8217;s goal is to provide a no barrier introduction to mapping and timelines in the classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"timeline-js\">Timeline JS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/timeline.knightlab.com\/#overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TimelineJS<\/a> is an open-source tool that enables anyone to build visually rich, interactive timelines. Beginners can create a timeline using nothing more than a Google spreadsheet&#8230;\u00a0Experts can use their JSON skills to create custom installations, while keeping TimelineJS&#8217;s core functionality.&#8221;- KnightLab Timeline JS homepage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"clio\">Clio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Developed by Marshall University, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theclio.com\/web\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clio<\/a> is an educational website and mobile app that serves as a guide to historical and cultural sites around the United States. Clio was built by scholars with the intent to be utilized in public applications.
