Microsoft PowerPoint is available through the College&#8217;s Microsoft 365 subscription and the app can be installed on up to 5 devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What can I do using Microsoft PowerPoint<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create presentations from scratch or a template.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add text, images, art, and videos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add transitions, animations, and cinematic motion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save to <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/technology\/knowledge-base\/onedrive\/\">OneDrive<\/a> to get to your presentations from your computer, tablet, or phone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share your work and work with others, wherever they are.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"whats-new\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What&#8217;s new?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PowerPoint on the web<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>additional video and drawing functionality has been added for PowerPoint on the web, making it easier to integrate videos and drawings into your slides. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=b6Hv8Il4HHE&amp;t=197s\">video<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PowerPoint desktop<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>more options in the accessibility ribbon, including making the alt-text menu easier to access and allowing you to preview your slides from different levels of colorblindness (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=b6Hv8Il4HHE&amp;t=149s\">video<\/a>) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>easier to share slideshows directly to Teams in PowerPoint desktop. When navigating to File &gt; Save a Copy there will be several options presented including different Teams and other outlets for you to share your presentation (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=b6Hv8Il4HHE&amp;t=114s\">video<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Improvements to teleprompter view<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The teleprompter view scrolls through pre-written slide notes on your device as your presentation is being projected so you can plan out your reading speed in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improvements to notes display and speed of scroll are available in <a href=\"https:\/\/insider.microsoft365.com\/en-us\/blog\/introducing-the-enhanced-teleprompter-in-powerpoint-recording-studio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Recording Studio in PowerPoint for Windows<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can access the teleprompter under the <em>Record<\/em> tab, by clicking on either &#8220;From Beginning&#8221; or &#8220;From current slide,&#8221; whichever you prefer.
