This workshop will cover creating a website in Canva, along with additional design tips from the instructor, Jessica Israel.  Students will leave with an understanding of how to create a website for their creative endeavors. A laptop is required. Setting up a Canva account prior to the workshop and bringing your own personal designs\/ideas is encouraged.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Objectives: Learn how to create a stunning website in Canva with a template Canva provides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Materials for the Workshop: Have a laptop and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canva.com\/\">Canva<\/a> <\/strong>account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"agenda\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Agenda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Introduction<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Show example of a Canva website<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get everyone set up on Canva<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Website design in Canva: All assets can be found searching elements (Use the free items.)<\/strong>&nbsp;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Start with a template&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look through the template<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Change and add more elements\/objects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Link new websites to certain objects such as \u201cLearn More\u201d or social media icons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Link another website they create<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Show results&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Create Time for Students<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students work on their website<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learn more about DMB resources and workshops for the rest of the <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.wooster.edu\/technology\/events\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">semester<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Get ready to create stunning website in Canva.
