Unsure where to start? The resources below will help to get you started on tips for creating the best poster possible to convey your research and topic.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/livewooster.sharepoint.com\/:p:\/s\/edtechstaff\/EVEv7IWphMdMiPaIXswi8fkBd79L9XS16YG9_zYGzccOOw?e=7iyUZ3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Poster Workshop Slides<\/a>&nbsp;to get you started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"suggestions\">Suggestions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"design\">Design<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"titles-text-and-fonts\">Titles, Text, and Fonts<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Font Sizes<\/strong>: at least 88pt for title, 64pt for your name, 48pt for section headings, 36pt for body&nbsp;text<br \/><strong>Font Selection<\/strong>: For readability, use a Sans-Serif font, particularly for headings (ex.&nbsp;Futura,&nbsp;Calibri,&nbsp;Helvetica)&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Body Text Formatting:<\/strong>&nbsp;flush left, rag right with 1.5 spacing<\/li><li><strong>Body Text<\/strong>:Use bullets and limit the use of paragraphs<\/li><li>Limit the use of words. Keep your word count to 800 words or less.&nbsp;<strong>Remember your poster is the abstract.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"colors\">Colors<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Color should capture attention, but not distract.<\/li><li>Use <a href=\"https:\/\/coolors.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Coolors<\/a> to help design an appealing palette.<\/li><li>Accessibility is another key component of good design. Make sure everyone can read your poster using a <a href=\"https:\/\/webaim.org\/resources\/contrastchecker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">contrast checking tool<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"alignment-and-whitespace\">Alignment and Whitespace<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Whitespace is important to allow information to seem less cluttered.
