All Music majors must complete four semesters of Recital Attendance (MUSC 09900). You will be automatically enrolled each semester after declaring your major until you have completed the requirement.
Requirement
Attend 10 approved concerts or recitals each semester as an audience member or as a Recording Crew member.
- At least 5 of these must be Wooster Music Department events on campus.
- Events where you perform or usher don’t count.
- Recording Crew receives credit for the concerts and recitals that they record.

- Submit a program to the Chair for approval. Acceptable events include:
- Performances by professional musicians or groups
- Performance by school ensembles (college or public school)

Managing Your Attendance
- If you attend more than 10 events in a semester, up to 3 extras can carry over to next semester (but these cannot fulfill your 5 on-campus requirement).
- You must attend at least 8 events to qualify for an incomplete.
- Complete all 10 by the College’s Incomplete deadline to receive credit.
- Partially completed semesters do not count toward the requirement.
