Diversity in Water

Miyah Bayless has over 13 years of experience in the Wastewater Industry. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Bowling Green State University.  As a Class III Certified Wastewater Treatment Operator, she has worked in several roles including Wastewater Bacteriologist Chemist, Operations Supervisor and is currently the Research and Control Specialist. She manages the City’s Biosolids Land Application and Disposal and Odor Control contracts along with safety program for Water Reclamation.  In 2022, Miyah became the Co-Chair for OWEA’s DE&I committee to help foster OWEA’s commitment to crafting a more inclusive environment for all its members. Miyah is the mom to Chase and Carter, a volleyball player and coach, a basketball scorekeeper and avid learner.
