The Phi Beta Kappa chapter, in collaboration with the Departments of Earth Sciences and Biology, was delighted to host Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar Julia Clarke on campus October 12-13th.
Dr. Clarke delivered a lecture Alexander von Humboldt: A Forgotten Essay Speaks with a New Voice hosted by the Earth Sciences and Life Sciences Seminar series and a public lecture The Secret Lives of Dinosaurs both on Thursday, October 12 in Lean Lecture Hall.
Dr. Clarke also visited classes, including Prof. Mark Wilson’s Paleoecology Lab class.
In addition, she participated in a discussion as part of the STEM Success Initiative’s “Get to Know Me” series for students.
