Connect to Network Storage and Services from OFF Campus

Virtual Private Networking or VPN is intended to provide access to on campus resources from off campus. To that end, users cannot access VPN from on campus. In addition, you should disconnect from VPN as soon as you have finished accessing the information you need.

Requirements to connect to the VPN

To connect to the VPN, you need a Macintosh computer running OS X (version 10.13 or later) or a Windows computer running Windows 10. In addition you will need to be connected to the Internet. Also, some wireless routers and public access points block VPN traffic. If you have trouble connecting to Wooster’s VPN from home over wireless, try plugging your computer directly into your router. If you then cannot connect to our VPN, please consult your router manufacturer’s documentation for configuring VPN passthrough.
