Copilot

Copilot refers to Microsoft’s AI-powered tools designed to enhance productivity across various applications, particularly within the Microsoft 365 suite. These tools leverage artificial intelligence by combining the power of large language models (LLMs) with up-to-date information from the web.

As part of the College’s Microsoft licensing, College users have access to Copilot with their credentials. Copilot is delivered with enterprise-grade security, privacy, and compliance. How to use Microsoft 365 Copilot

When you launch the Microsoft 365 Copilot app or get to it from your browser at Microsoft365.com you’ll see a list of apps on the navigation pane. Some of them, such as ChatPages, and Create, are always there. Others, like Apps allow you to install apps and select apps that you can pin to the navigation pane for easy access.

Use Copilot Chat

  1. Start in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.
  2. Go to Chat.
  3. Type in a prompt and select Send.
  4. Copilot generates a response.
  5. You can ask Copilot to make changes or refinements as needed.
