Multifactor Authentication Instructions for using wireless networking when phone service is not available

If you are planning to be in a country where your phones dialing, and service plan are not active, you will need to setup the device to use the mobile authenticator application.  The main advantage of the application is that it can use the wireless networking on your phone and not be reliant on text messages and calling plans.  If you need to setup your device to use the mobile application and do not have a second factor, please email the helpdesk (* helpdesk@wooster.edu *) from the alternate email you provided the college, and IT will clear your current information which will enable you to register again using the mobile application.  Make sure you have downloaded the application “Microsoft Authenticator” from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
