Encrypting Windows Systems

Bit Locker is full disk encryption and can be enabled from the Control Panel.

  1. Click on BitLocker Drive Ecryption

2. Turn on BitLocker

3. If your computer is on the Wooster domain, save the key to your domain account.  Otherwise print it and keep it in a safe place.  You may need it to recover your data at some point.

4. Click next and start encrypting.
