Forgotten Passwords

*You must have previously set your security questions and updated your profile with an alternate email.*

  1. Visit https://mypassword.wooster.edu to connect to the Password Self Service site and click on the “Forgotten Password” button at the bottom.
  2. Next, enter your Wooster email address and last name in the appropriate fields. 
  3. Answer your password questions in the provided spaces.
  4. Once you have successfully answered your questions, you will be presented with a dialog box asking for a verification code. 
  5. In a separate browser window check your alternate email account for the code.  See example below.  
  6. Once you receive the code, copy and paste it into the dialog box and click “check code”.
  7. Once the verification process completes, your new password will be emailed to your alternate email account. For example:

Even though the password has now been reset, the password sent to you will be an automatically generated one.  We recommend changing it to something more familiar to you.

  1. Close the browser windows and reconnect to https://mypassword.wooster.edu
  2. Log in using the username and the password emailed to your alternate email account. 
  3. Click the “Change Password” button.
