Forward/Redirecting your email

Forwarding your College of Wooster Outlook email to another mailbox.

Redirecting Emails – Desktop Directions

By doing these steps on your desktop application you can apply the rule to incoming mail and mail that already exist in your inbox.

Step 1: Open your Outlook email application and select File

Step 2: Select Manage Rules & Alerts

Step 3: Select New Rule

Step 4: In the Start from a blank rule section, select Apply rule on messages I receive and Next

Step 5: Click the box next to:
sent only to me
where my name is in the Cc box
where my name is in the To or Cc box
where my name is not in the To box

Step 6: Click the box next to redirect it to people or public group and then in the Step 2 box click on people or public group

Step 7: Submit the email you would like your Outlook inbox redirected to. In the image the mailbox is xyz@gmail.com

Step 8: After you click Okay the window will show the new email under the Step 2 box, click next

Step 9: Select exception to the rule if necessary, if not click next.

Step 10: Chose a name for your rule and then select if you want the rule to apply to the inbox that already exist, then click finish.

Forward Email from Outlook Online

Forward Outlook email from the online version of Outlook.

Step 1: Go to email.wooster.edu to access Outlook online.

Step 2: Go to settings by clicking on the cogwheel

Step 3: Click on View all Outlook Settings located at the bottom of the menu

Step 4: Open the Mail tab and select Forwarding

Step 5: Submit the email you would like Outlook forwarded to and if you would like to keep a copy.

Step 6: Click Save
