Video Conferencing Classroom Technology

Information and Planning has made improvements to a number of classrooms to support remote learning and lecture capture.  For rooms not equipped with built in equipment portable video units are available to be placed in classrooms where needed.  Labs spaces will be served by GoPro units with a number of mounts and supports.  Below is a list of the equipment in each of the four different setups. 

Full classroom upgrade

  • Nureva microphone array to picking up local voices to transmit to remote attendees 
  • Front HD camera

  • HDMI courtesy input
  • USB-C courtesy input
  • USB-A connection to cameras and microphone array
  • AirPlay connection for Apple computers and iPhones
  • MiraCast connection for Windows computers, Android phones and Chromebooks
