Missing an Email?

Where could it be? Between clutter, trash, inboxes, and folders it is possible to have mail misplaced, but it also may be withheld or hidden from view

Here are the steps to save that missing mail:

First, make sure you are logged in and able to send and receive new mail. Then, follow these steps:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder — certain external or suspicious-looking emails may be marked as such when arriving in your inbox
  2. Use the search bar — this should search all folders and inboxes, including the trash (if not, navigate to the trash and search there)
  3. Certain senders might be marked as suspicious by Microsoft and be quarantined before they reach your inbox. A guide to accessing and recovering quarantined mail can be found here.
  4. If you are still the message was sent and that you are not receiving it, it may have been removed by the college from your inbox. This is usually reserved for phishing emails but has been known to happen in response to perceived policy violations.
