Per insurance requirements, all individuals on campus will need a valid United States driver’s license and pass a drivers safety exam to get behind the wheel of a college-sponsored vehicle.

ScotShare is an electric carshare program available for students, faculty, and staff to use for personal or business purposes.  Follow the link to learn more.

Campus City Route returns this fall running 1pm-5pm every Saturday starting Saturday August 23. Pick up and drop off every half hour at Babcock Circle. Last trip leaves at 4:30pm.

City of Wooster Fixed Route

The College of Wooster provides a free fixed route transportation service, through the City of Wooster, to all students.

  • This service is operated as WayGo – Wooster and Wayne County’s new public transit service and more information is located at WayGo | City of Wooster Ohio.
  • CoW ID cards will be used for this service.  Please show the driver each time you ride the shuttle.
  • A route map and stop times are available at WayGo Fixed Route Map.pdf. (The campus stop will still be located at Babcock Hall circle.)
  • The fixed route service runs hourly on a loop through Wooster, making regular stops along the way.
  • Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • WayGo also provides an additional option for Demand Response Service which is a curb-to-curb service that picks you up and drops you off in areas one mile beyond city limits and can be scheduled up to 2 weeks in advance (i.e. doctor appointments, etc.). 
  • Fares (One-Way):
  • $5 general public (with 24-hour notice)
  • $10 general public (less than 24-hour notice.
  • WayGo does not provide service on the following holidays:
  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Presidents Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • Weather & Safety
    WayGo’s top priority is the safety of its riders and drivers. Service will be suspended during Level 2 and Level 3 Snow Emergencies, as well as other severe weather or safety-related events. Updates will be posted on their website and the City of Wooster’s social media pages.
