Information Technology requires all users who use mobile computing devices (notebook computers, tablets, smartphones, etc.) for College-related work to encrypt all storage areas where data is being saved to protect confidential, sensitive, or proprietary information. 

College owned machines will come already encrypted or be encrypted during the set-up process.

IT will assist you in setting up the encrypted storage areas, please contact the Help Desk (x4357) to arrange to meet with us.  Or, you can set up encrypted storage areas yourself by following these instructions.
