“This year we will host our eighth annual URAN|UM event, a program for undergraduate students at Midwestern institutions and local PUIs interested in learning more about graduate school as part of our annual UM Chemistry alumni event (Alum|NUM) and we hope that your students will consider participating. URAN|UM stands for Undergrad Research And Networking at the University of Michigan. This event will include panels consisting of UM Chemistry alumni in industrial and academic positions, panels of current UM graduate students, and workshops covering graduate admissions application packages.”
“In 2026, we are excited to be hosting an in-person event at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, on Thursday, July 23th, 2026. Poster presenters will have the opportunity to present their posters in our large atrium in the chemistry building. This will be an excellent opportunity for students to build their resumes from home as well as hone their communication skills by discussing their research and receiving helpful feedback.”
