Equipment Reservations Through IT

The College of Wooster IT Help Desk offers a variety of technology equipment for reservation including audio-visual devices, laptops, projectors and more. All current faculty, staff, and students at the College with a valid College ID are eligible to reserve and checkout equipment. Your College ID will be required to check out the equipment.

Methods for Reserving Equipment

  • In-person: Visit the IT Help Desk located in Morgan Hall on the 4th Floor Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
  • Email: Send an email to helpdesk@wooster.edu that includes the type of device you would like to reserve, pick-up date, and the return date. See Loan Periods and Extensions for loan periods based on device designation.
  • Call: Call the IT Help Desk at 330-287-4357(HELP).

Loan Periods and Extensions

  • Audio-Visual and Peripheral Devices: 48 hours, unless otherwise indicated.
  • Laptops: 2 weeks, unless otherwise indicated.
  • Extensions can be requested and are subject to availability.

Returning Equipment

All reserved equipment is due back to the IT Help Desk located in Morgan Hall on the 4th Floor by 5:30pm on the due date notated on the Loan Equipment Sheet. Ensure that all items are intact and in working condition upon return.

Late Returns, Damages, and Fees

  • Late returns are subject to fines.
  • Equipment that is damaged or lost will incur repair or replacement fees.
