Storyboarding

Storyboarding is the process of sketching the scenes/shots of a production before shooting to spot potential problems. Storyboarding can be used in theatre, animation, and writing.

Storyboards can be hand sketched or they can be sketched with the aid of software tools. The idea is to convey a sense of what will happen in a scene and viewers should be able to look at the storyboard and have a general understanding of the story and action.
