Dental Plan
Regular dental checkups can help find early warning signs of certain health problems, which means you can get the care you need to be healthy!
The College of Wooster offers a dental plan from Anthem, which allows you to receive care from any provider. Remember, your out-of-pocket expenses will generally be higher if you visit a dentist out-of-network, so plan to stay in-network when possible. Your Dental Plan Network is the Dental Complete Network.
Out-of-Network reimbursement will be at the 95th percentile(Dentists not in the network are reimbursed based on the 95th percentile of dentist’s fees in a geographic area.).
To find a dentist by name or location, go to anthem.com or call dental customer service at the number listed on the back of your ID card.

Note that some services may not be available every year (example: 1 x per 36 months). Please see plan documents for specific benefits & exclusions. Allowed Benefit is the amount established for payment of covered In-Network services. The Allowed Benefit will generally be lower than the amount charged. You are responsible for copayments, coinsurance and all charges that exceed the Allowed Benefit for services received Out-of-Network. This is called balance billing.
Vision Plan
The College of Wooster offers Vision insurance through Anthem. Any provider can be used for vision care, however out-of-network providers, will cost more out-of-pocket and may require claims to be submitted.
