ADA Reasonable Accommodations
The College is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“ADA”) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, which prohibit discrimination against qualified persons with disabilities, as well as other federal and state laws pertaining to individuals with disabilities. The Secretary of the College has been designated as the College’s ADA and Section 504 Coordinator and is responsible for coordinating efforts to comply with these disability laws, including investigation of any complaint alleging noncompliance.
The College will not discriminate against a qualified individual with a disability because of the disability with regard to a job application, hiring or discharge of employees, compensation, job training, or other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment. Pursuant to the federal and state law, the College will engage in an interactive process to provide reasonable employment accommodation(s) to all qualified applicants and to employees with disabilities unless doing so would result in undue hardship to the operation of the College.
