Guiding Students’ Journeys: Effective Advising Practices
This workshop will help faculty develop a structured approach to academic advising by focusing on planning, organizing, and integrating developmental academic advising into their semester workflow. Participants will share their best advising practices. Additionally, we will explore practical ways academic departments can actively nurture strong advising skills among their faculty through structured support, shared resources, and collaborative mentoring.
