The International Education Week Committee, in collaboration with various campus offices and student organizations, hosts the annual International Education Week (IEW) celebration every year. This year’s dates are November 3 – 9. The International Education Week Culture Show will take place on Saturday, November 9th.
IEW is a joint initiative of the US Department of State and US Department of Education. Its goals are to celebrate the benefits of International Education and to recognize the global exchange environment between the US and other countries. On the national level, IEW was first held in 2000. We are proud to say that IEW has been celebrated at The College of Wooster for more than thirty years. The first festival was initiated by foreign language faculty in the 1970s.
