Maps and timelines can be useful tools and concepts in helping students approach concepts of space, place, time, and storytelling. This workshop’s goal is to provide a no barrier introduction to mapping and timelines in the classroom.
Timeline JS
“TimelineJS is an open-source tool that enables anyone to build visually rich, interactive timelines. Beginners can create a timeline using nothing more than a Google spreadsheet… Experts can use their JSON skills to create custom installations, while keeping TimelineJS’s core functionality.”- KnightLab Timeline JS homepage
