As of January 28, 2020 all members of the campus community have had Multi-Factor authentication (MFA) activated for their Wooster account. This means that individuals will be prompted for a second authentication method when they login to email, One Drive, or Office products. To lessen the disruption this might have on classroom activities individuals should:
- Make sure to have their second authentication factor (usually a cell phone) with them at all times
- Choose the “Don’t ask me for 14 days” option after authenticating to avoid future multi-factor authentication prompts
- Consider using your own laptop to present in the classroom since it is more likely that you have already completed option 2. on your laptop
- Make sure to logout of any public or classroom computer
If you encounter repeated issues with a particular computer make sure to report the issues by calling 330.287.4357 or emailing helpdesk@wooster.edu
