Show up and leave with a good start on your IS Symposium poster. Alicia Brazeau (Director of the Writing Center), Cally King (Director of Design), Dr. Jon Breitenbucher (Director of Educational Technology), and Gillian Lee (Writing Center Consultant) will assist students with:

• Drafting text for the poster
• Creating a design for the poster
  • Choosing fonts
  • Choosing colors
  • Sizing text
  • Sizing and placing images
• Creating a rough draft of the poster
  • Using PowerPoint
  • Using InDesign
  • Using Pages

Students should come prepared with some rough ideas of what they want to include on their Symposium poster, any images or charts they would want to use, and their laptops.
