Scot Daily Health Check Notification App

You can now receive text messages for the Scot Daily Health Check. Find our more information on our post.

Need more help? Reach out to our Help Desk at helpdesk@wooster.edu.

Moodle Tips

This week’s Moodle tip is to add the activities block to your course. The activities block helps you and your students see what content is available in your course such as assignments, forums, and much more. It automatically updates when you add new content to the course. Check out our support video on using the activities block.

Infobase Learning Cloud

Faculty, staff, and students have on-demand access to professional development and training courses through our partnership with Infobase Learning Cloud (formerly known as Hoonuit and Atomic Learning). Offered as short, video tutorials, Infobase provides content on technology training (Office 365, Adobe, Moodle etc.), research paper writing, career planning, and much more.

For more information on what Infobase Learning Cloud can offer you or your students, visit our Infobase post on Technology@Wooster.

Faculty: you can use the external tool link to add Infobase content directly to your Moodle course. See our Using the Infobase external tool page in our Moodle Professional Development course for details.

Microsoft Training Sessions

We would like to thank everyone who joined us and the Cleveland-based Microsoft Trainers for our training sessions.

If you were not able to attend the Organizing Teams Live Events session on Thursday, February 25th, you can still visit the link to watch the recording. The session focuses on how to set up live events, when a Live Event might be better than a Teams meeting, best practices, and more. Please see our Microsoft Teams Live Event post for more information.

You can watch all the sessions for 180 days on our Microsoft Training post.
