Confirm Adobe Premiere Pro is open and functioning before starting.
1. Create a New Project
- Open a new Premiere Pro project
- Name and save the project folder properly
- Import media files from an organized folder
- Review key panels (Project, Timeline, Program Monitor, Tools)
2. Navigate the Interface
- Overview of the Editing workspace and major panels
- Understanding sequence settings, video/audio tracks, snapping, etc.,
- Essential navigation shortcuts (zoom, selection, razor)
3. Basic Editing
- Make cuts, trims, and ripple deletes
- Rearrange and extend clips on the timeline
- Adjust clip speed, position, and duration
- Add transitions between clips
4. Add Text, Captions, and Audio
- Create and format text using the Type Tool and Essential Graphics
- Auto-generate captions with Speech-to-Text and edit in the Captions panel
- Import sound effects; adjust audio gain and add fades
5. Export Settings
- Review common export formats and presets
- Export and save the final video file
