Spring Semester Move In

Move-in for all students will open on January 11th, 2025 at 10:00am.

Students who are moving onto campus from their study abroad, readmission, or new to campus must check-in at Culbertson Slater House located in the Culbertson/Slater Complex at 602 East Wayne Ave. RAs will be checking students in at this location from January 11th-January 14th, 2025 from 10:00am-5:00pm.

Students who are returning to their spaces from fall semester, may move directly into their rooms starting January 11th, 2025 at 10:00am. RAs will be responsible for connecting with you and confirming your check-in via the housing portal.

Please note that during the first two weeks of the semester there is a housing freeze. Students will not be able to complete a room change request until January 24th, 2025.

How to loft your bed

Please follow these instructions provided by our manufacturer on how to appropriately loft your bed.

Air Conditioning in Residence Halls

While many of our Residence Halls have central air-conditioning (Andrews, Armington, Babcock, Bornhuetter, Brush, Gault Manor, Gault Schoolhouse, Luce, and Stevenson Halls), there are a few halls that do not have AC. Students are not permitted to bring window AC units from home. If a student has a medical need for AC and is not living in a building with central air, they should apply for a Housing Accommodation through the Academic Resource Center. If the student is approved, The College will install one our our own AC units in the room. Students not living in air conditioned buildings are encouraged to bring fans from home for the first several weeks of classes. Another great option that is permitted on campus is a ChillWell unit.

Roommate Agreement

We strongly encourage all students living with someone new to complete a Roommate Agreement First-Years will be required to work through this form with their new roommates to help establish boundaries and healthy relationships to last through the academic year. Upperclass students are offered the opportunity to complete the agreement if they wish to do so. Your Resident Assistant (RA) has forms available, there are several copies in the campus life office, or you are welcome to print off the agreement from the link above.
