Students can request and Move In Exception to the dates above by applying on your Housing Self-Service page under applications. Move In Exceptions should be completed by Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Applications will be reviewed weekly in July and August. Completion of this application does not guarantee approval of the date requested. Please make your travel plans after you have received a confirmation from Residence Life.
Staffing on campus and in the Residence Halls is limited prior to scheduled move in, so only requests that demonstrate need and warrant an early return will be approved. Early arrival requests for getting a head start on research/working on I.S. will not be approved.
Students without an approved College commitment who are requesting to arrive prior to August 21st will not be approved. If approved for a personal early arrival request, a $50 nightly fee will be assessed to your student account. Requests submitted after the deadline may result in a $50 late fee assessed to your student account.
Class of 2025 meal plans will start on Sunday and Class of 2024 will begin on Monday. First meal for Junior and Senior students is Tuesday, August 24th at 11am. Unless meals are provided through the group you are approved to be on campus with, you will not have meal swipes or flex dollars before the date listed for your class above.

We strongly encourage all students living with someone new to complete a Roommate Agreement First-Years will be required to work through this form with their new roommates to help establish boundaries and healthy relationships to last through the academic year. Upperclass students are offered the opportunity to complete the agreement if they wish to do so. Your Resident Assistant (RA) has forms available, there are several copies in the campus life office, or you are welcome to print off the agreement from the link above.
